Dynamic T-1
POPP's Dynamic T-1 delivers up to 12Mbps/12Mbps of scalable bandwidth shared between voice and Internet. Bandwidth is symmetrical so customer can simultaneously download and upload up to 12Mbps of bandwidth at any given time. Unlike a standard T-1, unused voice lines won't sit idle—as voice calls connect and disconnect, bandwidth is dynamically allocated to Internet.
Each voice call uses a portion of the Dynamic T-1's bandwidth; the amount of bandwidth used depends on the voice codec selected by the customer—G.711 or G.729. As shown on the graph below, a Dynamic T-1 using G.729 supports almost three times more voice calls than a Dynamic T-1 using G.711.

Bond up to three Dynamic T-1s for increased bandwidth that can be used for Internet and/or additional voice calls. POPP installs one Dynamic T-1 per 1.5Mbps bandwidth. If one Dynamic T-1 fails, the other/s will still work, but at a 1.5Mbps bandwidth reduction.
