Special Telephone Numbers

POPPcom provides three types of Special Telephone Numbers:  Advertising Tracking Number, Identity Number and Market Expansion Number.

1. Advertising Tracking Number
For many businesses, advertising is a huge expense.  Is you advertising paying for itself?  Use POPPcom's AAA (Assign, Advertise, Assess) Plan in conjunction with our usage reports to find out!

• Assign — POPPcom recommends assigning a unique Advertising Tracking Number to each ad (print, web, radio, yellow pages, billboards, etc.)
• Advertise — Run every ad with its own unique Advertising Tracking Number.
• Assess — Review your POPPcom reports detailing the number of calls to each Advertising Tracking Number.  Use the information to help determine the effectiveness and return on investment (ROI) of advertising campaigns. 

2. Identity Number
Are you moving to a location with a different area code?  By law, you cannot move your telephone numbers across area codes.  However, with POPPcom Identity Numbers, even when you move across area codes, you can still receive calls from your past locations' telephone numbers.  And, POPPcom Identity Numbers eliminate the possibility of your competitors acquiring telephone numbers that you published at past locations.

3. Market Expansion Number
Do you do business throughout the Twin Cities?  Is it difficult getting the attention of potential customers because you're located too far from them?  We recommend setting up a Market Expansion Number in each area code (612, 651, 763, 952) you do business.  This will give the appearance that you have an established presence in each area and potential customers may be more apt to call you.

• An inventory of your Special Telephone Numbers each with a customized description.
• The total number of calls and minutes for each Special Telephone Number.
• A breakdown of the telephone numbers that called each Special Telephone Number as well as the number of calls and minutes from each telephone number during the last five months.
