Account Code Numbers with POPP's Call Accounting
An account code number is a numeric code that a caller must enter to make a local, long distance and/or 0/411 call. Account code numbers can be assigned to employees, departments, projects or customers.
POPP's Call Accounting
POPP collects each account code’s call records and provides you with exclusive reporting that can help you:
- Measure outgoing calls made by sales and service representatives
- Measure time spent with the 20% of customers that generate 80% of revenue
- Empower management and representatives to identify customers who aren’t receiving calls, or customers who aren’t profitable
- Accurately bill back clients, departments or projects
This valuable information is available on POPP’s Manage My Account site. Here, you can quickly and easily search for a specific telephone number to determine when the number was called, and who called it.
Customize your account code number reporting to suit your needs:
- Personalize account code number descriptions and the department/s with which each account code number is associated
- Sort by most to least number of calls or minutes, or by state and area code
- Filter to list only phone numbers with ‘X’ minutes
- Select the frequency:
- Weekly – Current week and four-week history and/or
- Monthly – Current month and four-month history
- Optional bill back reports are also available. They add a specific dollar amount to each call or minute and allocate taxes and surcharges by account code number.
Account Codes are Flexible
- Available on local, long distance (includes international) and/or 0/411 calls*
- Select the length of your account codes: 1-8 digits
- Set up account codes on all phone lines/Direct Inward Dial (DID) numbers or only those you select
- Use verified or open account codes:
- Verified: Only account code numbers that are pre-authorized will pass through our network
- Open: Accepts any account code number that matches the account code length chosen by customer
