Local Line Feature*

Feature Definition

Anonymous Call Rejection

Allows the subscriber to reject calls from parties who have a privacy service that prevents the delivery of their calling number to the called party. While activated, the subscriber receives no notification of the call; the call is routed to a rejection message and terminated.

Call Blocking

Block 411, Long Distance, International, Collect, Complete-a-Call, 1010 and other call types on your Local Lines.

Call Forward Busy

Allows the subscriber to forward all busy calls to a number pre-determined by the subscriber. This feature is typically used to forward calls to voice mail.

Call Forward No Answer

Allows the subscriber to forward all calls not answered within a specific number of rings to a number pre-determined by the subscriber. This feature is typically used to forward calls to voice mail.

Call Forward Variable

Allows the subscriber to forward all calls to a number designated by the subscriber.

Call Trace

Allows the subscriber to request a trace of any call, if it was the last call received. The subscriber calls the law enforcement agency after activating the trace to see if further action is necessary.

Call Transfer

Allows the subscriber to transfer any caller to another line.

Call Waiting

Alerts the subscriber to a second incoming call and allows the subscriber to switch between the calls.

Call Waiting ID

Displays the name and number of a second incoming call.

Caller ID

Displays the name and number of the calling party.

Caller ID Block

Stops the subscriber's name and number from appearing on a display device at the location where the call ends.

Caller ID Name

Displays the name of the calling party.

Caller ID Unblock

Allows the subscriber to send caller ID information through, even though the lines have caller ID block, on an individual case basis.

Cancel Call Waiting

Allows the subscriber to cancel call waiting so any caller that calls in when the line is in use hears a busy signal.

Custom Ringing

Allows the subscriber to assign up to 6 different rings to numbers that ring on their phone line, so they can determine which number is being called.

Hunting

This feature automatically routes incoming calls through the Line Hunt Group.

Last Call Return

Provides the number of the last call.

Priority Call

Allows the subscriber to create and edit a screening list of up to 10 numbers and assign a distinctive ring to each number on the list.

Remote Call Forward Activation

Allows the subscriber to remotely forward all calls to a number designated by the subscriber.

Selective Call Acceptance

Allows the subscriber to receive incoming calls only from a specified list of up to 10 numbers. All other callers are directly routed to a rejection message and terminated.

Selective Call Rejection

Allows the subscriber to activate a personalized screening list of up to 10 numbers. People calling from these numbers are directly routed to a rejection message and terminated.

Speed Dial 8

Allows the subscriber to create and edit up to 8 numbers that can be quickly dialed using only the key codes assigned to that number by the subscriber.

Speed Dial 30

Allows the subscriber to create and edit up to 30 numbers that can be quickly dialed using only the key codes assigned to that number by the subscriber.

Three Way Calling

Allows the subscriber to establish a 3-way call with two other parties without the assistance of an attendant
